In the Pacific Northwest, moisture and moss are part of everyday life. When we’re in the woods, we love it. We admire it and even take photos of it. But around where you live, that same moisture tells a different story.Over time, moss, algae, and slick buildup start to appear, taking over walkways, siding, fences, and patios, especially during the wet season.As we paid closer attention to how exterior cleaning was handled in our area, we started to notice how much the approach really mattered. The difference between a quick clean and long-term protection often came down to care, technique, and patience.Big Blue Pressure Washing was created to offer a more thoughtful way to care for exterior spaces. We prioritize safety, surface integrity, and lasting results by using appropriate pressure levels, soft washing where needed, and treatments designed to remove buildup without harming siding, paint, landscaping, or the environment.As a locally owned, family-run business, we believe good work comes from taking the time to do things right. When you reach out, you’ll communicate directly with us, not a call center or rotating crew. Scheduling is clear, expectations are set up front, and we show up prepared to do the job carefully and correctly.
We use appropriate pressure levels and soft washing techniques based on the surface being cleaned. This allows us to remove moss, algae, and buildup effectively while protecting siding, paint, wood, concrete, landscaping, and surrounding areas.

Spencer is the one who shows up on site and handles the work itself. He operates the equipment, pays close attention to surface conditions, and makes sure every job is done carefully and correctly.
With a background rooted in outdoor work and movement, Spencer brings a focused, detail-oriented approach to every project. Whether it’s routine maintenance or a deeper clean, he takes pride in delivering consistent results and leaving each property looking refreshed and well cared for.
Annika
Annika handles scheduling, communication, and the behind-the-scenes details that keep everything running smoothly. She’s usually the first person you’ll hear from when you reach out, and she makes sure each project is clearly scheduled and easy to coordinate.
Outside of Big Blue, Annika spends most of her time outdoors — biking, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and staying connected to the local community. That connection to place shows up in how the business operates, with a strong focus on care, sustainability, and respect for the spaces people live in.
